Funded by the Government of British Columbia and managed by the United Way of the Lower Mainland, Better at Home provides non-medical home support services to help seniors age with dignity in their own homes and communities. In 2015/2016, local programs grew to reach over 15,000 seniors in urban and rural communities across B.C. “An amazing ripple effect we are seeing right now is how Better at Home is building stronger communities for all of us, not just for seniors,” says Michael McKnight, President & CEO, United Way of the Lower Mainland.
Kahir Lalji, Provincial Manager of Better at Home affirms that “Better at Home has had a genuine and positive impact on the lives of seniors in B.C.
